Shared or Private Account: Which Should You Pick?

Both work. The difference is who else uses the account.

• Private: your own login — change the password, keep your history forever.
• Shared: a seat on someone else’s plan — much cheaper, but never change its email or password.
• Studying for a few months? Shared is fine.
• Work files or personal photos? Go private.
